Illusory Illusions — Free Will, Determinism and the Ego

Some time ago I wrote an article about how “Free Will is an Ego Delusion”, but I think in retrospect the real Ego Delusion might have been a toxic fatalism that I inadvertently mistook for a reasoned philosophical position, rather than a way to make peace with the trouble I was having accepting responsibility for my own life, at the time. So it’s probably time to debunk that, or at least part of it.
