On Doing Nothing — it’s OK

So, it’s that socioculturally significant and temporally fairly arbitrary but vaguely notable event rolling around again, that is 2023 ending and 2024 beginning — these numbers, or course, being the numeric assignments we give to the blocks of time in the history of the universe in which the Earth completes another orbital freefall around the sun.
